Psalm Seventeen

David is relying on God's protection to deliver him from enemies that he believes are to strong to face by himself. As we read the story of his life, David faced this through just about every season. Reminding yourself where your protection comes from will keep you grounded and not running in directions where you expose your weakness. The only time you can be defeated is when you forget what God has done for you and become arrogant believing that you can take on the world by yourself.
