Genesis Nineteen

WOW....

THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT GENESIS 19....

I believe this may be the most dysfunctional chapter in all of scripture. This has all the makings of a weird independent film or at least a Jerry Springer episode....

A mob of men wanting to have sex with the guests of Lot,
Lot offering his daughters as a way to appease their appetites,
The men turn that down,
The angels causing the men to be blind,
Sodom is destroyed by God,
Lot's wife turns into a pillar of salt,
Lot's daughters laying with their father.

I don't understand much of what is happening here.
The story of God is not for the faint of heart.
God is just and fair regardless what we think He should do.
He makes the right call every time.
