Esau finds himself in a predicament. The land is filling up because Jacob and him have to many possessions. Instead of seeing a war, we see Esau move.
Sometimes family does things that are uncomfortable, to help others in the family succeed. Esau seems to genuinely care for Jacob and will do just about whatever he can to help him be prosperous.
I have a brother (two years younger). As I sit here typing these words I can see why Esau would do this for his little brother.
Love... pure and simple.
Esau loved his brother regardless of the past or if you think he should. There are just some things that don't require a reasonable explanation. I love my brother.
"Father, thank You that we have the opportunity to experience relationships in our lives like these."
