Luke Five

"It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
-----Luke 5:31-32

Stop for a minute and forget about the scene.

Forget about the religious leaders and their reluctance to live around 'sinners'.

Forget about the tax collectors and others sitting around the room celebrating a great feast.

Forget about the disciples and their standing on along side the walls, not really sure what religious people are suppose to do in this situation.

Think about the man that said these insightful words.

Jesus looks up at them and without apology gives us direction in dealing with diversity.

PEOPLE MATTER.

"Jesus, thank You for loving me when I should have been unlovable."
