The expectancy of Jesus is a beautiful scene to encounter. Mary will stay with Elizabeth for about three months. I wonder how much the fact that she was an unwed mother to be played into this decision. Word of her pregnancy was out in town. I would imagine a three month vacation from the looks, the whispers and the conspiracy theories had to be a pleasant retreat.

John leaps for joy in Elizabeth's womb when Jesus is near him. How excited do you get when Jesus is near? What are your immediate thoughts? There is strength in being in the proximity of Jesus. When He is near in scripture, GREAT THINGS HAPPEN. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.

"Jesus, restore unto me the joy of who You are."
