Matthew Thirteen is a chapter that is has been speaking to my heart the last few weeks. I was brought up with the belief that life with Jesus begins when we enter eternity. For the past couple of years I have been exploring the word of God and am realizing that the adventure of life with Jesus begins the moment we ask Him to be Lord of our lives.
That is why Kingdom living is so important. Understanding that the ground we walk on has a King will reflect how we live as servants. Our unseen King has reigned supreme since the beginning.
The thought that begs to be answered is... Do I have a Jesus that has a cool title and can do some neat tricks, or do I have a Lord that rules over us and requires mercy and sacrifice?
Many think this is unfair for Jesus to ask. They feel it takes away individuality. This is a lie we convince ourselves of. We love Jesus because He first loved us.
"Jesus, show me today glimpses of Your Kingdom."
