Hebrews Eight

The new covenant discussed here is the one we currently find our freedom in. Anything man makes is flawed. God is pointing this out through His words in Jeremiah which is repeated here in Chapter 8. As He sends His Son to set things right we see just how great our Father's love for us is.

Jesus could nave come through the ranks in the priesthood. Made His way toward becoming an earthly high priest. However, God does somehting more amazing here. Not only do we get a perfect priest to challenge us about righteous living. We get a Savior that rescues us from the bondage of sin and death.

"Father, You alone are God."
