Romans Eight

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?.... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

A powerful reminder of the redeeming power of Christ. There is nothing that can defeat Him. With His coming back from the dead He established that even death could not take Him out. And if death could separate His love for us then surely nothing can.

What a poignant declaration at the beginning of each day, week, month, year. Today, right now there is nothing that can separate you from the lavished love of Jesus.

"Father, thank You for the beauty of Your Son."
