2 Timothy One

"Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy."

Here we gain insight into just how deep the relationship between Paul and Timothy was. Scholar's tend to think that these tears of Timothy's was due to the apprehension and imprisonment of Paul. With their relationship of mentor and protege anytime they parted must have been difficult.

Life brings more fulfillment when done in community with others.
