Hebrews Seven

"The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect, and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God."
-----Hebrews 7:18

Though the word made nothing perfect it was still just. The need for making an atonement for sins committed was still needed. Mainly because of man's desire to be made right with God.

But God does something infinitely more significant for us. Because of Jesus' death we experience much more than just being 'made right' with God. We enter into an intimate relationship with Him. He is not the prison warden, watching and waiting for our disobedience. He is our source and joy of all kinds of love. His light shines over the paths in our lives, to show us the adventures that are possible for us to choose.

"Father, thank You for making everything glorious through Your Son."
