Hebrews Thirteen

"The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

To be honest my fellow man can do a lot. Just watch the 10 o'clock news and you gain insight to just how far man is willing to go to get what they want. Conspiracy, assault, hate, murder to just name a few from last nights top stories. Man has been attacking their neighbors and brothers from the beginning of our story. Four chapters into the creation of us and we see Cain murder Abel because of rage filled jealousy.

Today I am reminded that what man can do to me is always in the short term. Man's attack will never hold up over the protection of God. And though current circumstances may appear dark. To quote the psalmist declaration: "Though this sorrow may last through the night, joy comes in the morning."

"Father, thank You that Your protection is all we need."
