Romans Sixteen

As Paul wraps up his letter to the Romans he leaves space for personal greetings from some of the people he is doing life with. This group of people have helped start the momentum of the church. They risked their lives for the sake of the gospel. Some were placed in prison. Some died in those prisons. Epentus was the first of his kind in all of Asia. Needless to say, these people played a part in the story that was not safe in the least.

How about you? Are you following a god of convenience or the Lord of all creation? Is your willingness to serve Him as strong in the difficult situations as it is in the ones that require little thought, effort, and risk of comfort?

What about community? Are there people in your life committed to doing their part for the Kingdom? You are stronger when you are part of a team.
The message we receive from Paul in Romans is because of this great community of believers. The power of two multiplies compared to the power of one.

"Father, thank You for placing a community of people in my life that make a difference."
