Romans Eleven

"Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?"
-----Romans 11:35

The question appears absurd when we phrase it that way. Most believers will admit that the gift of Jesus and eternal life is above and beyond what any of us deserve. But at times our lives speak a different message. There is a tendency in us all to believe that the things we think we need or should have is due to God withholding blessing from us. We can complain, harbor bitterness or outright speak against Him not giving us more. We live in a society that suffers from "Bigger Barn Syndrome". We always want more.

What God has lavished on us is more than enough regardless if the season we are living in is abundant or appears scarce.

"Father, help me remember that You are all I need."
